Tools, Tools, Tools

I am hooked on finding and trying out  new technology “tools”. The “tool” could be an actual gadget or a Web 2.0 piece of software that is easy to use and, of course, free. So I look for lists of things others blog about and recommend. I do have my own favorites which I have blogged about before.

The Edudemic web site has a list of they call The 35 Best Web 2.0 Classroom Tools Chosen By You. The list was created simply based on the number of times each was mentioned on Twitter during a hashtag, #edchat, discussion. Check out this list too.

Kathy Schrock has developed a rubric that is useful for  evaluating an online tool.

Are there any tools on any of these lists that you like to use? Any there any tools that didn’t make it on these lists that you would recommend to others? Please share your favorites with us.
